Introduction
"Kilkari"Bihar Bal Bhawan
“Kilkari” is a social attempt to reinstate the creativity instinct among children through awareness, games, paintings, dance, songs, sports and other extracurricular activities. "Kilkari" is a venture that promotes and catalyses extracurricular activities, to create the process to embrace children into the mainstream in a sustained manner, facilitate them to emerge as a productive asset and set foundation for the nation building.

Bihar Bal Bhawan "Kilkari" was formed in July 2008, under society registration act 1860 by "Department of Education" Govt. of Bihar. Shri Anjani Kumar Singh (The Principal Secretary, Department of Education, G.O.B.) is the first Chairperson and Ms. Jyoti Parihar is the first Director of “Kilkari- Bihar Bal Bhawan”.

Kilkari- Bihar Bal Bhawan is now availing at Saidpur Location in a sound foundation building established in a few distance from Majhrul Haque Stadium inaugurated under agile hand of Honorable CM Shri Nitish Kumar, Government of Bihar on 14th of November, 2012. The contribution of "Department of Education" has immensely visible by its associates and government authorities time to time in this effort.

Objectives

Our objective is to reach out to the maximum number of children and help into them to discover their hidden creative talents and work constantly for the progress of such kind of unconnected social section of children and family to the main stream of society, where equilibrium never means like that.

We achieve our objective through many activities encompassing a wide spectrum of subject like science, Creative Arts and Crafts, Integrated Activities, Performing Arts, Physical Education, Dance Competition and Publication Related Activities etc.

Our Main Objectives

Work as a Social Centre; where children between the age group of 9 to 16 can come and enhance their creativity.
It is a place; where children can get all the necessary material required for their overall growth.
Promote indoor and outdoor activities. Help children in their physical growth by installing swings, Provide Karate Training, Physical Fitness through Height Growth, Stretching, Aerobics, Weight training/lifting, Gym and other games.
Promote creativity among children.
Create leadership skills and scientific thinking.
Discover hidden skills and talent and shape them into a final object.
Teach etiquette, moral values and social culture.
It is a place; where children are free to express their views and do everything that makes them happy.
Promote awareness through electronic and print media regarding child labor, violence and child rights.
To work for under privileged children.
Promoting hidden skills in the field of Sports, Arts through Drama, Stage Shows, Painting Competition, Singing Competition etc.
Provide facilities which are not available to children either at home or school.
Motivate children to be self confident and independent.
Provide meaningful contribution for the development of the society.

What we do

As we are an organization that works for the extracurricular activities of children, and it is important to know what extracurricular activities are and what the advantages of its area.

Extracurricular Activities are activities performed by children that fall outside their realm of the normal curriculum of school.

Main Advantages:

It can empower children to make their own decision and help them to gain the vital experience and skills to lead them on the path of their future.
Increases Childs confidence level and taught responsibilities and discipline into them.
Helps them to learn about things outside their own environment.
Enhance their lives and give them pride on themselves.
Helps children to develop socially, emotionally, scholastically and physically.
It can in turn pave the way to their future goals, dreams, and activities and in some cases career growth, where they want to make it in future.
It also helps to learn teamwork, time management and co-operation among children.
Build Team Spirit by the Game into the children.
Introduce the innovative ideas and creativity.
Develop a fear less mind of overburden of bookish/school environment.
